1. Your Documents Are Your Business
When you use CtrlPDF tools (like Merge, Split, Compress, or Convert), your files are uploaded to ephemeral worker instances solely for the purpose of executing your transformation request. We do not inspect, copy, read, catalog, or mine the contents of your files.
2. Automated File Deletion
Our background scheduler runs continuous cleanup sweeps. All uploaded source documents and converted deliverables are permanently deleted from server disks automatically. We do not maintain historical archives of your documents.
3. Anonymized Telemetry & Cookies
We collect high-level, anonymized metrics (such as tool execution volume, device type, and conversion success rates) to ensure platform reliability. We use lightweight cookies to preserve UI preferences and defend against automated denial-of-service abuse.
